FFF Apology!
 C-Brawl Controversy...
Posted On: 8/17/2007

Controversy hit the "Crystal Brawl" on July 14 as Cage Announcer Tomm Looney strayed from his script upon the introduction of the Main Event, as he rubbed audience members the wrong way with his, "Let's get ready to (Meow)!", catch phrase. FFF has released the following Apology…

The entire Fatal Femmes Fighting Organization would like to apologize to those whom were offended by Cage Announcer Tomm Looney's intro of the Main Event, specifically our fighters, and those fighters that we hope to have on an FFF Bout Card someday. Knowing what kind of individual Tomm is, I am sure he would never have deliberately insulted our fighters, our organization, and women's MMA as a whole. He is a kind soul, and an excellent announcer, and should not be misjudged because of one error in judgment. Furthermore, we hope that our supporters and audience know that this incident in no way represents the organization, or its feelings towards Women's MMA. We realize that those who know us understand that we take this sport extremely seriously, and would never do anything to misrepresent women in the sport. However, there are plenty who don't know us, and do need to hear from us that our intention is to continue to promote Women's MMA, and to be the ultimate breeding ground for Women's MMA. Our goal is simple, to be a legitimate sport and organization, of the same caliber as Women's Tennis or Women's Golf. We hope we are forgiven, and we hope that all our wonderful fans will continue to support the existence and growth of Women's Mixed Martial Arts.

Sincerely,

Ilan Lewinger
